Outreach

Every other month, MYSTL Girls collaborates with another local masjid. This builds unity and sisterhood amongst the girls across different masjid/towns. The collaboration includes halaqah, sports activities, and much more!

Community Service

Every other month, MYSTL Girls gives back to the community by volunteering at various local non-for-profit organizations such as Beit ul Maal (House of Goods), AlBaraka Food Pantry, etc.

Co President

I have been apart of mystl for 3 years now but have attended the events since middle school. I am president of msa at my school. I am from Bangladesh and I play volleyball. Some things I love are sushi and jamba juice and I have a crazy obsession with books; my biggest accomplishment is that I read 220 books last year

Zoya Shah

Co President

Salam! My name is Zoya Shah! I am a junior in high school. I am passionate about helping my community and giving back to people in need. Outside of MYSTL I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, going to the gym, volunteering, and being with family and friends.

Nasi Kemer

Salam, I’m Nasi. I’m the treasurer and a junior in High School attending STLCC. I know how important it is for the masjid to have a youth group, and I’m very grateful to be a part of it! InshaAllah, I’m looking forward to another great year with MYSTL!

Rida Khan

Salam, My name is Rida Khan. My position in MYSTL is secretary. Something I enjoy playing is badminton. I’m also really passionate about giving back to the community and volunteering.

Salam! My name is Sara, in my senior year. I‘ve been a part of Mystl for 3 years now and been attending events and other activities ever since i can remember. being part of Mystl means a lot to me and i hope i can make a change for the better. Some activities I enjoy are Soccer and Swimming. I hope to make new friends and get to know everyone Inshallah!!

Tanusha Hasan

Salam, my name is Tanusha Hasan. I am currently a junior in high school. My role in MYSTL is to make flyers, advertise our events, and maintain social media accounts. I believe that MYSTL is a great way to connect with other Muslim girls in our community. Outside of MYSTL, I enjoy going on walks and reading.

Raneem Khalil

I’m a senior in highschool and I’m someone who loves to do acts of kindness and give back to my community. Being a part of MYSTL Board is a great opportunity and helps me bring out the best in me. I am involved in the community service club at my school as well. I also love art and graphic design.

Assalamu Alaikum, my name is Kewuser Jemal and I am a senior at Al-Salam Day School. This year, I will serve as one of the two outreach coordinators for MYSTL Girls. I am very enthusiastic and excited for the outreach and community service plans I have this year. I hope to provide new volunteering opportunities and different ways in which the Muslim Youth could give back to their communities. Inshallah, this year will be great and I look forward to working with everyone!

Yusra Khan

Assalamualaikum, my name is Yusra Khan and I am a freshman at Parkway West. This year I will serve as halaqa head inshAllah. I am looking forward to planning exciting halaqas and events for the community, similar to the ones I attended when I was younger!

My name is Aisha Muhammud. I am the monthly events committee chair for year of 23–24. I currently am in 11the grade at Parkway West High School. I am also a Hafiza of the Quran. Reading, taking walks outside, and reviewing the Quran are things I do frequently in my free time.

AA, my name is Zoya Hasan I’m a Sophomore at West High. I love to spend time with my family and help support our small Muslim community. In my free time, I like to travel and go horseback riding!

Assalamualaikum! My name is Aleena Siddiqui and I am a junior in high school. I enjoy giving back to my community and helping out others in need. MYSTL is a great way to do that :). I grew up with MYSTL since my sister was in it and she took me to many events and halaqas. It really helped me get closer to my deen. Outside of MYSTL I enjoy reading, boxing, working out, crocheting, and many other hobbies. I‘m looking forward to working with everyone iA, let‘s have a great year!
